- Whenever you have to go out, keep your whole ostomy kit with you. You must have a new ostomy bag with you to face any emergencies confidently. Moreover, keep toilet papers and towels with you to clean your bag.
- Find a good pose which is comfortable for you when emptying your ostomy bag. You can stand, kneel, or sit down in front of the toilet to empty your ostomy bag.
- Don’t use too much toilet paper when emptying your ostomy bag. After you’ve emptied the bag, get away from the toilet to avoid the water from splashing on you.
